Considered industry pioneers in web development, co2digital have built and managed online communications solutions for clients such as Comark, Exco Corporation, Draxis Health, MDS Inc, Dofasco, Nabisco, Domtar, CBC Newsworld, and the Crash Test Dummies. Since 1994 we have provided our clients with extensive website business solutions from analysis and planning to design and development including hosting, maintenance, marketing/promotion and on-site training.

We are currently interested in reviewing resumes/portfolios for the position of Multimedia Designer. This is a contract/freelance position on a project basis as needed. Successful candidates will design and develop graphic materials for computer-, web-based and print applications as required. Projects typically include interface design for homepage and internal content templates, design of PowerPoint presentation title and content page templates and/or the design of Flash interfaces for multimedia and web projects.

Applicants should understand current industry standards and techniques and have strong GUI design skills with an understanding of user functionality and interactivity requirements.

• Research design ideas and develop concept (theory)
• Understand user audience and parameters
• Understand technical specifications
• Understand budget and timelines
• Mock-up in either Photoshop or Fireworks of 2 or 3 design options
• On approval of design, supply original source files to project lead

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university preferably in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or Multimedia.
• Strong background in multimedia, web and interface design
• Web & multimedia experience
• Knowledge of new technologies.
• Flexible with hours to meet deadlines
